Last Day of the lavender field public harvesting. Why go to France when we have the fields and Mt Shasta as a backdrop? Plein air painted on a hot summer day, but definitely worth the effort!

I have over 20 years experience in fine art study, painting, and teaching.
In order to convey my vision accurately I employ the use of lost and found edges, knowledge of color temperature, a variety of brush strokes, design of space, and contrasting values.
