The painting was painted when the rose trellis and daises where in full bloom. A very inviting scene to the gardens of the resort. This painting , also part of the permanent collection of the resort, is available in print and greeting cards.
This is the resident and very spoiled cat of The Lithia Springs Resort. I'm doing a series of him in various quirky poses. Watch for future posting. Prints and greeting cards will be available
This one is part of the Lithia Springs Resort collection of my paintings. Workshops are being offered as well by me to paint the lovely grounds of this resort.
The Oregon landscape is true poetry. I am constantly inspired by the beauty that surrounds me here. So many scenes to paint will keep me busy for a long, long time.
The Peace Rose seems to be following me. They have been growing outside my house in both Oregon and California. They have the most delicate hues and subtle color changes. What a beautiful rose and the sentiment it stands for.
“I live, breathe, and sleep art. Creating art is a way of life for me.”

I have over 20 years experience in fine art study, painting, and teaching.
In order to convey my vision accurately I employ the use of lost and found edges, knowledge of color temperature, a variety of brush strokes, design of space, and contrasting values.
