On location with a 1st time plein air student and the weather was very overcast. Needless to say it was a challenge for me to find contrasting values and color diversity in this landscape. The student had his share of learning on that day!

A beautiful Sacramento day. Was surprised to see the grass on the hills this dry, this early in the season. Maybe the recent rains brought back some green?
